Stacey Tinianov

Advocates for Collaborative Education

Stacy joined The Light Collective in 2022, and she is the founder of Advocates for Collaborative Education.

As an AYA, early-stage breast cancer survivor, Stacey Tinianov advocates for patient empowerment via collaborative education; shared decision making; health data access; and person-centered research and clinical design. In 2020, she founded Advocates for Collaborative Education so that advocates across the cancer community could learn with and from each other. As an advocacy and engagement consultant, Stacey works with a variety of NGOs, nonprofit and for-profit organizations to build bridges and partnerships between the clinic, research, industry, advocacy, policy and the myriad of unique patient communities.

She is co-chair of the COVID19 and Cancer Consortium’s (CCC19) patient advocacy committee, a community advisory board member for the California Precision Medicine Consortium (CaPMC), and policy advocate for the National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship (NCCS).
